Hood “NadiN” is a very detailed crochet pattern for a warm and cozy winter accessories. The model combines hood and snood in one piece with specially made cord around the face cut.

The pattern is calculated for 2 sizes according to head circumference:
A) head circumference 52-56 cm 20.5-22”
B) head circumference 56-60 cm 22-23.5”

You will find measurements both in cm and in.
The pattern provides stitch key and lots of step-by-step photos and videos, and is written in US and UK crochet terms (in 2 separate files 16 pages each for your convenience).

Materials and tools:

  1. Mink yarn 350 m/50g 382 yds in 1.75 oz ball– 1050 m or 1150 yds or 3 balls of main (usually sold with extra thin thread – 2 skeins) to use in 2 strands (lace weight) + 1 extra thin thread or any other soft (and “hairy”) worsted yarn with 120 m in 50 g 131 yds in 1.75 oz used in 1 strand. Make sure your yarn is good for wearing close to neck and face.

Testers used the following yarns:
Alize Angora Gold – 150 g total 5.25 oz – lace, in 2 strands
Seam Angora Fine – 250 g total 8.25 oz – lace, in 2 strands
Alize Angora Real 40 – 115 g total 4.025 oz – lace, in 2 strands
