Tips

U.S. terminology
You may use this pattern to make a cowl / infinity scarf, or you may work in rows and make your scarf a traditional scarf. The hood is made by crocheting to the back. Alternate directions for ruffled edge included.

We will make the cowl first, crocheting in the round. Then we will join yarn onto the back half of our cowl and crochet in rows to make the hood.
This pattern does not include how to whip stitch or slip stitch the top of the hood together.
You will need to know how to evenly SC around the hood. There is no step by step instruction for this.
