This is the crocheted version for the hope doll that I created for the charity effect:hope. A charity where these dolls are given to people effected by leprosy and other diseases. These dolls help give hope and comfort to the people who receive them. I will ask that you please do not sell these dolls as they are to be made for charity, but you can make these dolls and give them to the charity I have mentioned or if you know of another charity you may donate to them as well. The pattern for this doll made the way I made it, the doll will stand just under 8 inches tall. If you use a larger hook the doll will become larger. I wouldn’t recommend using anything larger then a 3-3.5mm though since the charity needs it to be a certain size for shipping purposes. Also a larger hook will make holes that could show the stuffing through the doll. All other information is in the written pattern. I hope you enjoy the pattern and making unique hope dolls of your own! :) You can find this charity at effecthope.org and on Facebook by searching for their Facebook page called effect:hope. Enjoy and God Bless!
