The pocket shawl is worked vertically with a double crochet cross stitch pattern. The pockets are created by folding the bottom part and then fixed along the edge with a row of single crochet.

For my pocket shawl I have used about two and half cakes of Hobbii Cookie. A comparable quality and feel can be achieved with Read Heart Roll with It Melange or Lion Brand Ferris Wheel or Lion Brand Tweed Stripes.
