This easy-knit scarf is a great project for new knitters, and a relaxing meditative knit for experienced knitters too.

This lush Double Moss Stitch (Double Seed Stitch) scarf is identical on both sides… so you can wrap, twist, tie, pull through or knot however you wish.

This simple scarf is just one straight rectangular panel, knitted in one piece. The borders are knitted as you go!

If you can cast on, work a simple knit stitch, a simple purl stitch and cast off you’ll be able to knit this lush textured scarf!

Separate instructions are included for 3 scarf sizes, so you can choose the scarf that is perfect for you!

The Narrow/Short Single Wrap Scarf is the perfect length for a simple tie through at the front. A neat little scarf that looks great nestled into your jacket or coat, or accessorising your favourite sweater

The Medium/Mid Length Double Wrap Scarf is a great length for looping around your neck once, and bringing to the front again.

The Wide/Long Double Wrap Scarf can be wrapped around your neck once or twice and brought to the front again. It’s wide enough to wrap around your shoulders or cover your mouth and nose on extra chilly days.

This knitting pattern is written for Milla Mia Naturally Soft Merino Aran but you can choose any Aran (US Worsted) yarn that recommends 5mm (US8) needles and knits to the stocking tension listed below.

NOTE: I recommend you go down to the smaller needle size to knit this scarf with Aran (US Worsted) yarn as the back and forth motion of this stitch pattern gives a naturally looser fabric. This 4.5mm (US7) needle size will give you a neater defined pattern. The yarn quantities in this pattern have been calculated using the 4.5mm (US7) needle size.
