The instant I saw this yarn I knew I wanted to design myself a scarf that would cheer up the bleakest day - and let’s face it, there’s been more than a few of them this year.
I chose a lace pattern that echoed the arced shape of a rainbow and I shaped the scarf itself into a big crescent shaped arc, mainly by the slightly slanting effect of the pattern itself.
I’ve used brushed alpaca lace. Substitutes would be kid mohair, any bright 3ply it fine 4ply.
