You may use any yarn to make this toy, just make sure to use correct hook size with your yarn.

You will need following or similar materials to crochet the horse as in the picture:

Yarn Wolans 18 - 1 skein
Yarn Wolans 19 - 1 skein
Yarn Wolans in milky color 02 – a little bit
For the harness - YarnArt JEANS 70
Crochet hook size 4 mm
Safety eyes, 12 mm; if you have 14 mm, you can use those as well
Thread for tightening, mercerized cotton (this thread is strong and does not break)
Thin black thread for eyebrows embroidery
Polyester fiberfill
A needle with a large eye
Scissors

You will only need basic crocheting skills to make this pattern:

Single crochet
Chain stitch
Slip stitch
Single crochet increase
Invisible decrease
Basic sewing skills to assemble all the parts together
