Materials and tools.
For this Horse are used Alize Cotton Saf 180 yards (165 meters)/50 grams (1.76
Oz), 50% cotton. 5 colors on example:
◦ White 100 gr,
◦ Saffron color, number 02, 100 gr,
◦ Beige color, number 161, less then 50 gr,
◦ Light beige color, number 67, 50 gr or also use white instead this color,
◦ and pink (very small quantity for tongue). Or any colors as you prefer.
◦ Hook 1,25 mm or 1,5 mm and 0,9 mm for crochet main and tail. Choose
size for yourself. Crocheting should be very, very tight.
◦ Filler holofiber. Tweezers and wood sticks for stuffing.
◦ Weightening, I used small flat stones, 5 for each side of hips.
◦ Soft pastel for tint the toy and plasticine, acrylic paints, metallic acrylic
paints for eyes making. Acrylic varnish. Brushes for painting different sizes.
◦ Glass hemispheres for the eyes, diameter 16 mm. Or ready glass eyes with
round pupils.
◦ Epoxy plasticine for eyelids and hooves. And universal invisible glue, that
not leave traces. I recommend Moment Crystal by Henkel.
◦ Needles for hide thread tails and long needle for additional tightening.
◦ Silicone brush pen for sculpting and modeling.
Varnish for sculpt detail. I use UV gel polish and UV lamp.◦ PVA glue for priming main horse, tail and lashes.
◦ DMC floss threads for lashes, 2 colors, one suitable for eyelids and one for
lashes, brown and orange on example.
