Hi there! Thank you for checking out my pattern and joining me on this yarn adventure! About a month ago a friend made an order of 5 horses to give away as prizes. This left me searching for a horse pattern for a week and never finding what I wanted. So taking the basic shape of a horse I built upon that and it left me with this cutie! I knew absolutely nothing about horses but thankfully my best friend Morgan knows everything about horses and was able to help me with all the little details from the forelocks of the mane to the right way to place the lead line on the side of the horse. Many thanks to her. Please don’t be daunted by the number of pages, this is just because of how detailed the pattern is for beginners! the pattern is in English and uses US terms only. This is a beginner to intermediate pattern.

You can totally make this horse with chunky yarn, he’ll be huge but adorable nonetheless! Just pick your yarn and use a hook a couple sizes smaller than recommended.
Everything (excluding the tail and mane) is worked in a spiral, so keep a stitch marker near for keeping your spot in the round.
