Some people (including myself) believe that a horseshoe, when kept as a talisman, invites good luck. When the ends of the horseshoe point upwards, then it is believed that the talisman collects any good energy with which it comes into contact. On the other hand, there are those who believe that when the ends of the horseshoe point down, then all its luck will be released to those around it. Up or down, having a horseshoe talisman is a pretty good idea. Create some horseshoe luck with this pretty little horseshoe lace cowl, and feel free to wear it up or down depending on whether you need the luck or you are wishing luck to your loved ones.

I used Malabrigo Arroyo (100% superwash merino wool; 335 yards/100 g) from my stash, but any similar sport weight yarn or even DK/worsted yarns could be used depending on preference.

I also used US 5 circular needles (16”), but dpns could likewise be used.
