Drink a cup of hot cocoa while making this simple yet elegant scarf. This scarf is knit on the bias; on every other row, a stitch is added at the beginning and a decrease worked at the end. The result is a fabric with a beautiful drape and one that curls around your neck keeping you warm.

I chose to work with Bread & Butter Bun yarn because it is soft, thick, and made of U.S. Merino wool. Bun is a chunky weight yarn so I knit it on thick US 13 needles. This scarf is a quick knit!

My sample is knit using two colors that are similar in saturation for low contrast: Porcini and Coastal Redwood. Choose similar colors or go bold and graphic and pair a light shade with a dark shade like Inkwell and Soft Serve! This is a relaxing scarf to knit and makes a wonderful gift.
