The Hot Cocoa hat was actually a swatch and a bit of a play around with stitch patterns. This resulted in a hat with a shaped, short row brim, which then needed a matching cowl and eventually a waistcoat/vest.

The hat features a garter brim with some short row shaping using MC, then the body of the hat uses a slipped stitch pattern and stripes of MC/CC. Sizes from baby to very large adult, you can make one for all the family, yardages were based on the largest size of hat for the pattern listing. You’d make two baby hats out of one ball of each colour in the same yarn. Info below:
