These pretty cowls are each worked from just 2 x 50gm of lovely Home Flock 4 ply, and the pattern helps you to use up every last bit of yarn which has been spun from the fleeces of the designer’s own small flock of black Shetland sheep.
The optional eyelet row cleverly hides the yarn join, meaning that the cowls can be worn just as beautifully with the reverse side showing. The pattern instructions give advice on how to work the cowl to avoid working any purl stitches.
With such a lovely colour palette it’s hard to decide which shades to pick, but you can’t really go wrong because, like the sheep they come from they all work together perfectly!
