This is my homage to the iconic designs of Coco Chanel. Using two contrasting colors of sock yarn and 3 easy stitches, this scarf will be a great, wearable accessory. The simple single crochet edging adds to its appeal.

The pattern rows of single and double crochet. The spike stitch is worked with a Treble crochet which reaches down 3 rows below the working row.

The scarf is generous 90” by 16”.

Two skeins of fingering/sock weight yarn. I suggest a high contrast
between the two colors.

Removable stitch markers are very helpful. Particularly for counting the bands of color in each section.

If you would like to make this bigger just continue the 2 center sections for more increases/decreases. You would need 2 more skeins for this.

The gauge is in double crochet.
