The Hourglass Beanie

This beautiful hat looks perfect in both solid and variegated wool (also looks great on the “wrong” side! It’s knit using a circular needles and the directions are written for an adult size hat. Pattern also includes a chart for those of you who prefer to use them.

The cables in the pattern form the shape of an hourglass, thus the name! :)

The Hourglass Beanie is knit with either super bulky or light super bulky weight wool, I used Sea to Sky Designs Plush, Malabrigo Rasta, DHG Piuma, Manos del Uruguay, Baahyarn Sequoia and Malabrigo Chunky but you can use other wools that are equivalent!

Yardage: (this will depend on your tension)
Super Bulky - 80 yards
Light Super Bulky - 85 yards
