Knitting is a terrific pasttime that not only keeps your hands busy, but allows you to make gifts for yourself, or family and friends. Some easy projects for novice knitters are scarves and shawls. This project is a simple triangle shawl that anyone with some basic knitting skills can whip up in no time! It’s all in garter stitch, and the instructions are pretty basic, so you can work while watching television or sitting outdoors!

The finished project should be about 80 inches across the top and 45 inches in length (in a triangle) so if you use bulkier or specialty yarn, be sure to work to size.
