How to Tame your Dragon was one of the warm-up patterns for Sock Madness 12. It is knit toe-up with gusset increases at the bottom of the foot. The heel is turned using shadow wraps and there’s a slip-stitch heel flap. It features slipped stitches and lots of texture.

There are 3 sizes available: Small (60 stitches), Medium (66 stitches) and Large (72 stitches).

You’ll need approximately 80 to 100 grams of fingering weight sock yarn.

Other materials required are a set of knitting needles for working small circumferences in the round and at least 3 stitch markers.

This pattern contains 7 pages. Basic instructions are 4 pages and there are 3 pages for charts.

A huge thank you goes to the awesome mods of Sock Madness. Without you, this pattern wouldn’t exist!
