About the design…
HØR no 22 is knitted top-down in a simple rib pattern.
Start by knitting the neckband in the round. Then divide into a front piece, a back piece and 2 shoulders, which are worked individually, back and forth. First the back piece, where you increase continuously along the armhole. Then knit the front piece in the same way. The back and front piece are joined under the armhole, and the body is knitted in the round to the desired length. Finally, pick up stitches for the armhole edging.
Special details in this design are:
The edges, which are a thin pin-tuck, knitted in a special way.
The shoulder straps, which are a fusion of the edge from the neck and armhole.
The A-shape, which makes the top hang loosely over the stomach.
And finally the bust darts, which gives more room over the bust and extra length, so that it does not bunch up in the front.
Both the A-shape and bust darts can be omitted.
