This 17th century embroidery motif is quite simple, but very pleasing. An alternating branch of leaves or seed pods and blossoms wends its way around the circumference of this cozy neck cowl. I called this Hrisa which is Old English for a twig or branch.

Contrast Colour (CC) Carter Stovell Perendale Super Wool Semi-Worsted 8 Ply 50 g (1.8 oz), 1 ball. Colour Pink Heather. Any currently available Worsted (#4) yarn with similar yardage may be substituted.
