Huddle Up Hood
This Tunisian crochet hood pattern creates a cozy knit-look scoodie using seamless join-as-you-go construction. Designed for intermediate crocheters, this hooded scarf can be made striped or solid and works up beautifully in worsted weight yarn for a modern winter accessory. Plus the Huddle Up Hood functions as a stylish alternative to a beanie or balaclava.

SIZING
The hood comes in an adult Medium or Large.
Fits 53-55 (55-60) cm head circumference. You can adjust the length of the scarf to make it longer or shorter.
This pattern is suitable for intermediate Tunisian crocheters.
MATERIALS
Note: You can use any yarn you’d like as long as it’s a Weight 4 yarn and meets gauge.
Yarn: Nakyang Yarn 7 Easy Worsted (Weight 4) | 60% Merino Wool, 40% Acrylic | 80 g / 131 m in 3 colors
* C1 (Blue C797) 175 (218) m
* C2 (Yellow C3730) 175 (218) m
* C3 (Red C756) 175 (218) m
* Edging: around 23 (35) m in any color
OR 548 (689) m using 1 color of Worsted (Weight 4) yarn.
Hooks and cords:
* Main: 6 mm Tunisian crochet hook (or any hook required to meet the gauge) with cord up to 40 cm
* Edging: 7 mm crochet hook (or hook 1 mm larger than main hook)
GAUGE
14 sts x 16 rows in Tunisian Knit Stitch, 10 x 10 cm blocked using main hook
