Hug Shot was supposed to be in honor of International Hug Your Pet Weekend (a made up holiday by Sharon From Security) If you don’t know who that is, you might want to walk away now. Things are not always professional, but they are lighthearted. Sharon does, indeed, allow dogs to participate in this holiday weekend “as long as they don’t act stupid or dig shit up.”

This is a very straightforward shawl and you can smoke, drink, and play Canasta at the same time as knitting it, as Sharon does.

The Pattern
Hug Shot is an asymmetric triangle and has the same specs as Breathe and Hope except it uses a larger needle. The same yarn combinations also work.

Yarn Requirements
Fingering/sock weight yarn. Approx. 380 yards of each color was used, so please note that the requirement is 400 yards each to account for gauge differences.

Please note that I will not be naming the two different yarns that I used from my stash (to keep things fair.) Many dyers and LYS’ have ordered/dyed yarn to mimic this combination.

Color A - Solid
Color B - Speckled/variegated

Size 15” deep by 78” at neck edge.

Any snarky or passive aggressive questions/comments will be referred to the establishment (above left.)
