The Huggable Teddy Mosaic Overlay Crochet Pattern uses just the basic Mosaic Overlay Crochet stitches! There are no special stitches needed to complete this pattern! Instructions for color changing and tapestry crochet technique are NOT included.

Just the very Basic Mosaic Overlay Crochet Knowlege is necessary for this pattern. Including how to establish a base row of chain or chainless single crochet stitches. I

I would advise having 2 skeins of each color on hand if you are planning on making just the basic 2 color pattern, just in case! That is a total of 4 skeins of yarn, however that will most surely leave you some excess for more fun side fringe or perhaps you can even a back panel for a cushion!

The Pattern is 93 stitches wide. (95 with the Base Stitches on either side.)

The Pattern is 97 stitches tall.

It measures approximately 60 cm by 60 cm or 23.5” inches by 23.5” inches when made with size 4 worsted yarn and a size G 4.0 MM Needle! Truly Quite Large!

Both the X’s and O’s in the pattern are the classic Double Crochets we all know and love! Blank Squares are the usual BLO Single Crochets we all know and love!

IMPORTANT: Both the included Graphs and the Written Pattern MUST be read from Right to Left and Bottom to Top as typical with Mosaic Overlay Patterns, for the Bear to match the graph. If you read the Written Pattern from left to right you will create a mirror image of the Bear opposite the graph.
