A hippopotamus can weigh up to 3.5 tons; thankfully this little fellow is a little lighter to carry! This cuddly hippo is knitted predominantly in stockinette, with garter stitch feet. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the hippo is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

A pair of 3.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4)

Deramores Studio Anti-Pilling DK in Grey; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic;One 100g/250m skein
