Do you love gnomes as much as I do? Then you’ve found a perfect one!

It’s a beginner-friendly pattern with all needed instructions and photos to create this charming gnome named Huggs.

You will need chunky yarns in grey, cream and beige colours + fluffy red yarn for the softest hat.

I’ve used Alize Superlana Midi (75% Acrylic, 25% Wool = 100g/3.53oz – 170m/186yds) and YarnArt Mink (100% Polyamide = 50g/1.76oz – 75m/82yds) however you can choose any other chunky yarn you prefer.

Also, you will need cardboard (to make a circle 25cm in diameter), toy stuffing, a yarn needle and scissors.

The bottom is crocheted in 2 layers and cardboard between them.

Gauge: 16sts/17 rows = 10cm/4in

Finished size: approx. 47cm tall
