Wrap yourself in a cozy hug. This pretty poncho features a traditional cable pattern called OXOX or Hugs and Kisses, perfect for a bit of comfort on a cold day. Knit in 4 colors of fingering yarn held double, the poncho has a built-in fringed edge. Fold the rectangle in half and seam part of one side to create the neck opening.

Poncho is knit in one piece in a rectangle, from ribbed edge
up, using two strands held together.
Body is worked in stockinette with a cable on the right edge. The fringe is knit as a 4-stitch garter edge, which gets unraveled at the end.

Fingering weight yarn held double.
