Hul Blusen
by Dorte Bak
Hul Blusen is an airy sweater with an all-over eyelet pattern, broken up with stockinette stripes that help to keep its shape.
The name is danish and means blouse with holes.
The blouse is both classic and fun and can be toned down with muted colors or spiced up with fun colors.
The sweater is worked from top to bottom. First the neckband is worked in ribbing and then the wide raglan is worked, which gives a robust look to an otherwise airy and “hole-y” blouse. The eyelet pattern is repeated by shifting 1 stitch, so that it forms a staggered and slanted line for eyelet placement.
