This pattern is a color chart for a blanket picturing a flying hummingbird. The blanket is all in hdc and the bird shape is obtained by changing colors while keeping same stitch type.

The size of final blanket is 90x126 cm (35 x 50in) and I tend to crochet very tight.

I used crochet hook size 4.5mm with mainly worsted yarn, but you can change yarn and hook size accordingly and, correspondingly, scale the design. I recommend to use the same type of yarn for each color to avoid distortions.

Patterns is to be started from bottom right corner in the chart. This helps having less ends to waive in :) .

• turquoise, 10 skeins
• black, 2 skeins
• aporto blue, 3 skeins
• jade green, 1 skein
• lime green, 1 skein
• pink, half skein
• light grey, 1 skein
• dark grey, half skein

• slate blue, 2 skeins
