Apart from being super cute, this pattern is a very practical design - it’s not just for photo props.

  • It has buttons all down one side
  • It has a bottom casing that can be drawn in to close with a ribbon (doubled through so won’t come out)
  • It has a rib top that sits snug and warn around the neck (but not tight). It has plenty of length so allows for growth (58cm, and 68cm for 2 sizes). Knit in a soft yarn for baby’s sensitive skin. NOTE - this pattern also includes the hat! Overall skill level - beginner to intermediate - it’s pretty easy really, especially the cocoon. Pictured: King Cole Riot, shade Foliage - which knits up in its own stripes but you can use different coloured green yarns and create your own striped pattern.
