I really wanted to design a beanie that was gender neutral and would look great with a semi solid as well as a solid coloured yarn. This pattern has plenty of texture and a simple pattern, but enough changes so you won’t get bored.

Sizes and Finished Circumference
Newborn - 12”/30cm
0-6 Months - 13”/33cm
6-12 Months - 14.5cm/37cm
1-2 Years - 16”/41cm
3+ Years - 17.5”/44cm
Adult - 19”/48cm
Large Adult - 20”/51cm

Intended to be worn with approximately 2”/5cm of negative ease so choose the size SMALLER than your measured head circumference.

91-232 yds / 83-212m - 35-90g DK Yarn - additional will be required if making a woollen pom pom

Suggested Yarn
White Gum Wool 8ply Superfine Merino

US 6/4mm circular for main
