Pattern description from Stitch ‘N Bitch Nation: “Snow on the ground; ice on my sidewalk - I’d had enough of winter and it was only January. In need of a pick-me-up, I headed off to my friendly LYS for my favorite drug, Noro Kureyon. While I fondled its woolly goodness, I tried to envision vines and leaves sprouting, banishing the snow for another year.

These armwarmers are as close as I could get to changing the seasons with a wave of my hand. They are a little bit earth goddess and a whole lot of sass on a brisk day, with just enough coverage to keep your hands toasty, but still leave you use of your fingers. Because everything but the thumb gusset and the section that’s knit from the chart is ribbed, shaping is unnecessary and these armwarmers fit just about anyone. They kept me warm while I dreamed of spring and will do the same for you.“
