Stay super cosy with this beautiful hat and scarf set inspired by hydrangea flowers.

The motifs are given as charts and are simple enough for a first intarsia project. Pom poms add extra weight to the scarf, making it drape beautifully and the hat is finished with a pom pom topper as well.

The scarf is worked in two pieces and joined at the centre to create a perfectly symmetrical finish.

Needles & accessories:
1 pair of 4.5mm (US 7) straight knitting needles
1 pair of 5mm (US 8) straight knitting needles
Pom pom maker

Note:
When working the hat, change to 5mm (US 8) needles after ribbing, not 4mm (US 6) needles as given in pattern
