Hydrangea Sweater
‘Hydrangea Sweater’ is a dropped shoulders sweater, worked from the top-down.
The sweater has a simple and basic fit and the hydrangea colorwork is a point of this sweater, inspired by hydrangea petals.
This pattern provides 3 different types of sweaters, ‘Basic’, ‘Hydrangea A’, ‘Hydrangea B’.
’Basic’ is a simple sweater with no colorwork.
’Hydrangea A’ is worked in duplicate stitch after finishing knitting it.
’Hydrangea B’ is used the fair isle knitting technique.
‘Hydrangea Sweater’ is designed to have approx 15 ~ 20 cm (6 ~ 8 inches) of positive ease.

Full length : 53.5, 54, 55, 56, 57 cm (21, 21.3, 21.7, 22, 22.4 inches)

19 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in stockinette stitch on 4.5mm needles.
Needles
4 mm, 4.5 mm double point needles and circular needles.

Garnet Sparkle (40% Superfine Alpaca, 40% Merino, 20% Silk, DK weight, 100 g = approx 230 m)
4, 4, 4, 4, 5 skeins or 750, 803, 856, 920, 989 m (820, 878, 936, 1,006, 1,081 yds) of yarn needed.
Hydrangea Embroidery
2 strands of yarn held together.
Sandnes Garn Tynn Silk Mohair : 4323 1 strand + Drops Kid Silk Mohair : off white 1 strand, A small quantity is needed.
