Merry Christmas! This pattern is for a simple ribbed cowl with a little twist. I fell in love with this little cowl when I first made it for my daughter, and I knew I was going to want one for myself, too! While I was at it, I figured I might as well scale it so that it can also fit an 18″ doll, since Evelyn has been getting really into baby dolls.

This would be the perfect project for someone that is just getting into knitting, and wants to do something just a little step up from a scarf, and I think it would be really cute to make up the child’s version and doll version as a last minute Christmas gift for any baby doll loving children you may have in your life!
