This is a Bonnet inspired by the cardigan “Olearia” and dress “Cassia” by Georgie Hallam:

It’s my intention that you can knit the bonnet in any size you wish using almost any yarn you have with a recommended needle or the one that give you satisfying gauge. The main thing you need to know is the length from earlobe to earlobe and the length of upper head before it curve.

The bonnet is worked from the front to the back starting with a I-cord in the front, worked back and forth on head, increases over the curve of head, and ending with a kitchener stitch or a three needle bind of (as you prefer) in the center back.

Last thing. Just check your gauge first, soak and block! You never now how much a yarn will grow after soaking (specially superwash yarn) so you don’t end upp with too big bonnet.

Have a fun knit!
