FEATURES THE QUOTE:
“Because I know what it feels like to feel like you don’t belong. To feel like there’s this darkness inside of you. To be scared of who you are. What you can do.”

This pattern is a scarf knitted in the round using the Magic Loop method and seamless cast on and bind off. The pattern is knitted twice, once on each side, so that there’s no “wrong” side. However, the pattern can easily be modified to have the pattern on one side. Simply ignore the pattern repeat on one side and knit with the MC instead.

The pattern features a photo tutorial of a seamless cast on.

Of course, this pattern works just as well knitting in the round and then sewing the seams together at the top and bottom once completed. It can also be knit flat and seamed at the end.

MATERIALS:
1) US size 2 (3.0 mm) circular needles with long cables (47” or longer is ideal for magic loop), or cable long enough to knit normally in the round.
2) Fingering weight MC yarn (heather red pictured) ~1800 yards
3) Fingering weight CC yarn (heather green pictured) ~920 yards
4) Tapestry needle
5) Craft scissors
6) Blocking wires or pins
7) Stitch markers (4)

GAUGE:
Gauge isn’t crucial to this pattern since it’s a scarf
