A stranded colorwork cowl in worsted weight yarn that is knit in the round on a circular needle. While the design uses three colors, only two colors are used at a time. The border utilizes knit and purl stitches often found in Latvian mitten cuffs. Additional repeats of the chart may be added to increase the size of the cowl with instructions included in the written pattern.

I Love Polka Dots is an excellent pattern for teaching stranded colorwork and improving tension for those who are new to stranded knitting.

This colorful cowl is a quick knit and makes a great gift for the latency aged children on your winter gifting list.
