This baby sensory book is designed with baby’s development in mind. The first colours a baby sees are the contrasting black and white colours so these feature a lot in this book. The next colour a baby sees is red, so I have included splashes of red throughout the book to aid a baby’s sight development.
The book also includes lots of different textures created from the puff stitch, the loop stitch and the granny square holes, aiding the development of baby’s sense of touch.

The finished book (open) measures 16 x 7.25”.

You will need the following materials:
Aran weight Yarn (pattern uses Drops Paris from Garnstudio in Black (15), White (16) and Red (12))
5mm crochet hook
Yarn needle
Tape measure
Blocking Board (optional but recommended)

You will need the following amount of yarn per colour:
Black (15) 126g / 207yds
White (16) 75g / 124yds
Red (12) 13g / 22yds
