This shawl was created to show off my favorite yarn in my favorite colours. This asymmetrical shawl is knit side to side and features a lace edge, garter stitch, applied i-cord selvedge edges and an i-cord bind off. This pattern is completely adaptable to any weight of yarn, and any yardage. The main chart can be repeated as many times as your yardage will allow for. I love the idea of a completely flexible design and this is definitely it!

Size: Adjustible
Materials:
Yarn: Shown: MC- Poppy Yarn and Fibre Genghis sock (70% Merino, 20% Nylon, 10% Yak, 437 yards/100 grams) in Summer Berries. 2 Skeins
Recommended:
2 skeins of fingering weight yarn. This pattern can be knit with any weight of yarn at any gauge, however yarn usage will vary.
Needles: #5 (3.75mm) circular needles. If using another weight of yarn, choose the needle size that gives you a fabric that you like.
Notions: darning needle for grafting and weaving in ends, blocking pins/wires
Gauge: 22 stitches/4 inches in garter stitch (blocked). Gauge is not critical and will depend on the weight of yarn/needle size chosen.
Instructions: Fully charted and written out instructions. Percentages are given for final chart in order to maximize yarn usage.
