This beanie style hat is knit utilizing slip stitches, creating a subtle all over texture and making it an easy project. Slipping every other stitch on alternate rounds speeds you along.

The slip stitch creates a scrunchy and warm hat. The texture adds just enough interest that’s suitable for male and female wearers.

Unlike I Slipped Up - the original child size pattern which had a plain top, this hat continues the slip stitch pattern all the way to the top of the hat.
