George is named for a man who saved my life when I thought it wasn’t worth saving. His name is George Ragan, or Johnny 3 Tears of the band Hollywood Undead. Even if he doesn’t see this, I’d like to take the time to say “thank you” to the amazing men that make up this amazing band that helped save my life when I was 19, and have continued to help me survive.

And now, the knitting stuff!! ^-^

George has been put through 3 trial knits to ward off mistakes. The quickest time I’ve had making one of these is one weekend (Friday evening to Sunday night). The longest “float” is carried over 9 stitches. There’s a colour chart included at the end.

This is my first try writing a pattern for other people to understand, so if you have any problems, PLEASE!, don’t hesitate to contact me at LiuMaiRuStudio@gmail.com, or either LiuMaiRuStudio or ChasingSunsetsCatchingStardust on Instagram.

I’ve been on hiatus for a while and actually forgot about this listing while I’ve been developing my off-Ravelry storefront and new patterns. I’ve made this pattern free for anybody and everybody. I apologise to those who’ve had to deal with my old Paypal and pre-mental breakdown contact information. Instead of a purchase price, I hope if you have the monetary means to do so, please send a donation to SAVE - Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (save.org) and their LEADS program, the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide (https://sptsusa.org/), or to 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (https://988lifeline.org/). George and knitting both saved my life, our world can do with more saving.

IBe sure to share your progress on social media so everybody can “ooh” and “ahh” over it! Me, I want to ooh and ahh! (#IWillNameHimGeorge)
Happy knitting! xx
