Ibisco is a hooded shrug, worked from the “very top” down.
It is started from the top of the hood with Judy’s magic cast on (normally used for toe-up socks), then worked down to raglan shoulders. The stitches needed for the shoulder are gradually created at the back of the hood, underlined by a gentle lace pattern that reminds me of a hibiscus flower (hence the name)
When the hood is completed the body is worked as a cropped raglan yoke.
Sleeves are worked seamlessly in the round to the wrist and over, to end like fingerless mitts. The thumb opening can also be used to secure sleeves if the shrug is worn like a cowl (with sleeves used as a scarf).

To fit bust: 80, 95, 110, 125 cm
