The resulting ice-cream will be approximately 6cm in height. You can increase or decrease their size by using different yarn and hook sizes. At the moment this pattern is only available in English.

This is a beginner/intermediate level pattern, please make sure you know the used stitches (shown lower) or look them up online before starting your ice-creams. The little one takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to complete one.

My ice-cream teddy was made using Moda Vera Gelato 4ply yarn, but you may use other 4ply yarns.

Gauge doesn’t really matter for this as long as the stitches are tight enough to prevent the stuffing from coming out. The beads can be replaced with plastic safety eyes or yarn eyes.

Materials needed:
2.5mm crochet hook
4 ply yarn, your choice of yarn/colour
Small amount of felt in black
Toy stuffing
2x 4mm beads
Yarn needle, scissors, etc

Abbreviations (US terms):
Ch - chain
Sc - single crochet
Inc - increase
Dec - decrease
Hdc - half double crochet
Sl st - slip stitch
FLO - front loop only
BLO - back loop only

This little ice cream can be easily adapted into a phone charm or keychain.
