A super bulky beanie for a quick knit that can tackle on the most frigid times. The structure of the hat is inspired by the Norwegian red toned pointed hats worn as a quiet form of resistance during the Nazi occupation.

Beanie is knit in the round with a simple textured brim and decreased to form a lightly pointed top that is finished with a short I-cord and tassel. Pattern is knit with a four-stitch repeat, and very adjustable. The pattern details options for a cast on of 40, 44, and 48 stitches.

Cozy super bulky yarn, especially merino wool, makes this beanie suitable for taking on winter, whether it is out in the woods, on a frozen lake, or fighting the elements while letting your voice be heard.

This pattern is suitable for a beginner with some knitting familiarity.
