Ice Palace is a simple but elegant knit blanket. It is knitted entirely in Garter stitch (knit every row). The bottom and top scallops are worked using short rows, which are easy to do-I give detailed instructions on how to work these. The Icicle pattern is both written and charted.

Skill Level: Fairly easy. A beginner that wants to learn or knows how to do short rows could probably do this pattern. Otherwise, it is just garter stitch and yarn overs/K2tog for the holes.

My blanket fit a double size bed, 60” wide (152cm).

Yarn: Mainstays Cozy yarn, #4 aran or almost worsted weight. I used almost 4 balls.
