Ice-Wolf is a fierce stuffed animal ready to defend any child willing to tame him. He stands 11 inches tall and is 16 inches from his sensitive nose to his twitching tail. While well behaved, he tends to sniff out other creatures to play and may get a little rough!

Materials:

Red Heart: Super Saver White, Super Saver Light Blue,
FUR - Polar White, Seaport (blue)
Pattons Metallic black
scrap of red for tongue
2 12-inch long pipe cleaners
3.25 mm hook (F), 3.75 hook (F), 5.5 mm hook (I)
Long straight pins
Polyester fiber fill for stuffing
Darning or tapestry needle

Abbreviations:
MC - Magic Circle
SC - Single Crochet
HDC - Half double crochet
2 TOG - next 2 stitches together (decrease)
SLST - slip stitch
CH - chain stitch
ST - stitch
FLO - front loop only
BLO - back loop only
changing color counts as a stitch

HINTS:

To change colors, put hook through stitch where color changes. Pull through first portion of single crochet, then pull through new color on second half (2 loops on hook) of single crochet. Proceed to next stitch with new color. Single crochet a few stitches. Cut end of old color leaving about 3 inches of yarn. This can be knotted to new color end.
