PATTERN INFORMATION
Made in worsted weight wool, Icicle Cowl uses a simple cable pattern with eyelets. It is worked top down, with increases widening it at the shoulders for comfortable fit. A matching hat pattern, Icicle Hat, is available in my Ravelry Store.

Skills needed
Long tail cast on, knit, purl, decreases, increases, yarnovers, working simple cables, working in the round.

Lower edge circumference: 105 cm/ 41 in.
Upper edge circumference: 80 cm/ 31.5 in.

Gauge
(measured after blocking)
• Cable pattern: 1 pattern repeat of 16 sts and 20 rows is 8 cm/ 3.2 in wide and 8 cm/ 3.2 in high

Materials
Yarn:
330 m/ 365 yds of worsted weight yarn with good stitch definition. Shown in Cascade 220 (100% wool, 200 m/ 220 yds per 100 g, col. 8891 Cyan Blue).
