A simple band of eyelet snowflakes warms up this quick knit project.

Frigid temps and icy roads were the culmination of several days of snow. The crows held a convocation. Perhaps cawing kept them warm.

Here in Seattle, the slick glassy surfaces gave way to the usual gray skies and unending rain just in time for Christmas. Drops cascaded off the icicles that encased the cedar branches.

The Icy Snowflakes Tarot Bag commemorates the winter storm of Christmas 2022.

This fast knit features a scalloped edge at the top, i-cord drawstring, and snowflake lace border supported by a pair of garter ridges. The bottom of the bag is tailored to create a cozy fit for your favorite tarot deck.

Knit top-down in-the-round, a stockinette background keeps your needles quickly clicking while the decorative features provide a few rows of interest to interrupt the boredom.

This pretty drawstring bag can also be used for a gift bag or to hold any tiny treasures.

The finished bag is 7 inches tall (5 1.2″ from below the drawstring to the bottom), and 4 1/2″ wide, fitting a standard size tarot deck in a tuck box.

At about 25 grams/ 50 yds per bag, this is a great stashbuster!
