Pattern workflow:

Ida is worked from the top down, with a saddle shoulder construction.
First the two saddles are worked flat, then stitches are picked up along the sides of the saddles and stitches are cast on for the back neck, German short rows are worked to shape the shoulders and the back yoke is worked flat until the underarms. The front shoulders are worked separately. The fronts are worked flat until the underarm. The body is joined with the two fronts at the underarms with cast on stitches, and worked flat. The sleeves are picked up along the armholes and worked top down in the round. All trims are finished with a 1X1 rib.
