The cosy Ida Cowl is worked sideways in the round with stripes and a Fishtail Lace section. Lastly, the cowl is joined with Kitchener stitch grafting the Provisional Cast-On and live stitches together. The cowl comes with a matching beanie.

Yarn: 2 (2, 3) skeins of Aphrodite DK by Lain’amourée (70% baby alpaca, 20% silk, 10% cashmere, 240 yds / 225 m – 100 g), colourway Eblouie par la nuit as MC. Or approx. 460 (475, 500) yds / 420 (440, 460) m of DK weight yarn.

2 (2, 3) skeins of Aphrodite DK by Lain’amourée (70% baby alpaca, 20% silk, 10% cashmere, 240 yds / 225 m – 100 g), colourway Les pieds dans la sable as CC. Or approx. 460 (475, 500) yds / 420 (440, 460) m of DK weight yarn.

Needles: US 2.5 / 3 mm and US 3 / 3.5 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needles (for hat). US 7 / 4.5 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needles (for cowl). Choose size needed to obtain the gauge.

Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn (for pro-visional CO) and spare circular needle for grafting.
