Imagineur is a sleeveless cardigan designed to be worn open, for a relaxed and cosy look.

If you’re familiar with my Imagineur shawl, you may recognize its combination of garter stitch and delicate lace. I wanted to bring these elements into a completely new piece that is easy to wear and layer over a dress, a shirt or a simple T-shirt.

Imagineur is worked seamlessly from the top down. Garter stitch makes up most of the cardigan, while contrasting lace sections add interest to the knitting. The i-cord finishes give it a clean, polished look while keeping everything light.

Imagineur est un cardigan sans manches, conçu pour être porté ouvert, avec une allure décontractée et cosy.

Si vous connaissez mon châle Imagineur, vous reconnaîtrez peut-être son association de point mousse et de petite dentelle. J’avais envie de reprendre ces éléments pour les faire vivre dans une toute nouvelle pièce, facile à porter et à superposer sur une robe, une chemise ou un simple t-shirt.

Imagineur est tricoté de haut en bas, sans coutures. Le point mousse constitue l’essentiel du gilet et les bandes de dentelle contrastantes viennent rythmer le tricot. Les finitions en i-cord apportent un rendu très propre, tout en légèreté.
